Long Time Coming

So, it has been one hell of a long time since the last post. Yeah......Yeah.....I know, I suck at life. I was well aware of this years ago. Since the last time, I have gotten a job at Penn cycle, explored the city via two wheels, met plenty of great people. Here is a snap taken by Benji at Freeride III. A new goal of mine is to keep this (finger quotes) Blog (finger quotes) updated as much as possible so that you great fiends out there can be well informed of the hot air that is coming out of my brain.

Cheers and Rock on!

A Week and counting........

It has only been a week and yet so much has happened. I have gotten lost numerous times on my bike but now have a fogy idea of how to get there. I have ridden in a ride for a good cause, been to a professional soccer game, and witnessed history with Obama's nomination. I have been to a couple of shows, looked for jobs, watched Contador win the Giro, and most important of all watched the Red Wings win another cup. God I love this team. It has been a good week, no a Great week. Now i just need a job. The search continues.

Snapped Chain results in broken dream

In stage 5 of the Giro d'Italia today, David Miller of team Slipstream Chipotle snapped his chain under 3 km from the finish line, all but giving the win to Tinkoff Credit Systems' Pavel Brutt the win. In other news, the flying Mustache (David Zabriskie) is back State side to recover from crash in the opening stages of the Giro. Don't know if he will be back to form by Tour time. Good luck to him with his recovery though.
Ride on!

Saturday, May 10, 2008

So tonight we took a stroll across the bridge. The other side, the dark side, proved to be quite the competitor. Chazy suffered a rear flat about 2 miles in. After walking to a gas station to fill the new tube, we continued on to the "Silver Dollar" bar to take in a little Fuzz and the Guns.
After listening to Fuzz throw out some tasty licks, we saddled up. At this point, Chazy notice that his front tire was flat now. Since he replaced his back tube earlier, I gave him my backup tube for his front tire. We, the four of us, walked down the alley to the nearest gas station and Chazy proceeded to replace the punctured tube. Back on the road, we did not make it but a mile before Chazy got another flat. Three in the same night! What the Fuck! Out of tubes, he was forced to either walk or call for a ride. He pulled out the telecom and pushed some buttons. We left him to continue on. Due to a heavy head wind and some sleet, the remaining troops made some must needed PBR stops until eventually we parted ways (north or south). It was a good Friday night.

ROCK!

A Day Late.......A Dollar ShortAnd thus it was on......

Getting ready to mount up outside Barry's Bikes. First stop was the Main Bar. Then was the rail hop towards the old "Sandbar" (R.I.P.). From there we crossed the mighty Missouri, which resulted in this.............

One last stop after this, one last PBR, and then the lone trail home.......

It was a kick-ass Thursday night ride.

Work Sucked on Friday though!
